A Park For All: Celebrating 5 Years of Gathering Place

Since opening in September 2018, Gathering Place has been a park for adventure, play, community building, nature, education, entertainment, and so much more. To celebrate their fifth anniversary they had the community submit stories of special moments, memories, or experiences they’ve had at Gathering Place since its opening. To compliment each story they wanted to capture a portrait of each person and create an exhibit in the Boathouse. It was an honor to work on this portrait series with Gathering Place and it was my very first gallery show! This was the most meaningful and wonderful project I worked on last year and I’m so thankful I got to be a part of celebrating 5 years of Gathering Place, it truly is such a special place in Tulsa.
