Katy Sparkman

Meet Katy. She was diagnosed with cervical cancer in May of this year. Because her body was going to change so drastically with the chemotherapy treatments she wanted to do a photoshoot that would help empower her when she felt most disheartened. I thought this was such a great idea! Sometimes you can get stuck in a rut with your work and the "why" behind it, but this reminded of another genuine use that photography can provide for people. I was very thankful to meet Katy and capture these images for her!
