Saigon, Vietnam
Saigon (also known as Ho Chi Minh City) is a large city in Southern Vietnam. This was the second stop on my three week adventure across Southeast Asia with Chef Shannon Smith. We did a late-night street food tour via Vespa, visited a local food market, and experienced an amazing cooking class at Grain Cooking School. On the street food tour we tried Bánh Xèo (savory Korean pancakes), they were served warm and filled with seafood and crunchy bean sprouts. So good! I also loved taking photos at “Grain”, their kitchens were modern and they had a great aesthetic in every aspect of their class. Plus each recipe we learned was very unique and unlike anything else we tried the entire trip. Below are a few of my favorite photos I captured in Saigon!
